Take Me Out To The Ballgame

First baseball game - ever - and I got to share the excitement with 300 seven, eight and nine-year olds.

Fun?

Not quite.

I'm not even that sure how much ballgame-watching they did either.  But talking, eating hot dogs, and singing can be fun anywhere - anytime.

Another field trip in the books!

New Sheriff in Town

Ethan has had many fixations over the years - Shaun from Psych, Superman, Captain America, Woody,  Shrek.......but now he has developed a fascination for the resource officer at school - Officer Davis.

Officer Davis is now in idol territory.  Ethan writes him letters, waits for him to come visit his parents (who live across the street), and was only encouraged when he gave him a fake badge.

Everyday he dresses up (the baton really made an impression on him, I suppose).  He likes to sit out on the front porch swing to wait for him, but I have been making him go into the back yard to play.

It's always something, but hey, at least he is finally getting some decent use out of his scout shirt!
