Scout Camp

Scout Camp - that glorious "man" week when no one showers or brushes his teeth and you live among the bugs and dirt.  This was Ethan's first year and dad and Jordan spent the week with him.  Dad and Ethan came back today.  I don't know how Ethan lived without ice cream and tortilla chips all week, but you will notice we didn't dare send him without Cheerios! (hint: in the laundry basket)

Livin' with the bugs and other critters

It was an LDS focused camp because it is the 100th anniversary of scouting in the Church.  Devotionals by apostles were held each night and the Christian singing group "Jericho Road" is performing tonight.   They had boys from Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas.  About 800 boys.  I would not want to be a camp counselor.

 Phil said the boys were very good to Ethan and tried to include him in everything even though they couldn't understand a word they said.  Regardless, Ethan felt like one of the gang.

Phil said no one was more surprised than Ethan went the catfish came out of the water!
