Once upon a time......

Once upon a time a sweet little boy came into the world who was adored by his mother and father.  He grew and grew into a sweet young fella.

Then the sweet young fella turned into an adolescent.  Strange and terrifying - yet his parents still loved him dearly.

One day, this young man decided he wanted to leave

and go to college in

He no longer wanted to be a

fan.  He would much rather be a

fan.  Actually, what he really wanted to do was go to

Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher and become a full-fledged

So he packed up and went.  Full of optimism, excitement, and anticipation.

His mama rented a car from the airport that glowed in the dark, so she could get him to his destination safely.

He  settled in the dorm room.  Sixteen young men together in an apartment - one definition of crazy.

He said "good-bye" to his mama to begin his new adventure far from home.

So now his parents, who aren't as young as they used to be,

are starting a new chapter in their lives with their only remaining pirate son.
