He was up bright and early ready for the first day of school.
I spent the day going from classes to office to classes to office. I played traffic cop to all of the families coming in with their students this morning, helped negotiate 500 students through the lunch line choose between a hamburger or a hotdog for lunch (first time we have ever done that!), and coordinate rides for students who didn't know how they were getting home.
What. A.Day.
And this is why I can't be a thin person - instead of going straight home after an 11-hour day, I made a detour and brought home this:
Now I. Am. Stuffed.
(not to mention all of the Hershey nuggets someone left in the workroom :-( )
