S*N*O*W

After a hectic, crazy busy week we were (thanks to a lot of help from Jordan to get ready) able to leave bright...well it's wasn't exactly bright yet...but we left very early Saturday morning. The weather looked gloomy, but we had clear roads the entire way. The boys looked like this most of the trip:
We were anticipating bad weather through Wyoming on Sunday so we drove hard the first day - 18 hours - clear into Laramie. It starting snowing the minute we left Cheyenne. I was so glad to finally get to the hotel. We thought we may have to stay holed up while a big storm passed but when we woke up we decided to chance it and try to beat the heavy snowfall.

It is windy in Wyoming on a good day, and Sunday was no different. Fortunately, the road crews were out, Phil drove carefully, and we didn't stop. We made it to Megan's in time for Sunday dinner. The whole crew was there. I was so happy to see everyone.
Yesterday morning we woke to this!
Claire and Ethan were so excited to get out and play.
