A Whole Decade

Ethan turned 10!

He was hyped on it for a week beforehand, so you can imagine how pumped he was on the actual day - Tuesday!

Ethan is a simple guy, it is not really what you get for a present, it is the fun of unwrapping them that makes it all worth while.

So 72 balloons on the floor, candles to blow out, a pinata to break open, and a few presents to unwrap made him one happy lil' fella. (oops, he is 10 now, I must say big fella).

I wouldn't of gotten a pinata but he had a pretend party set up on Saturday morning that he "invited" me to and he had his cowboy hat hanging from a light, a blindfold, and a pirate sword. I took the hint that was what he wanted and went out to get one. It was fun!

A family from Church came over to help us celebrate. He had a great time. He was smiling from ear to ear all day on Tuesday. His class sang to him, which thrilled him. Later that evening his brothers called and then Megan and her family sang to him over the phone. It just put him over the the top with giddiness. He couldn't believe it. He loved it all.

Oh, that we were all so grateful for the little things!

Unwrapping presents on his first birthday.....
And his latest.....

Happy Birthday, Big Man!
