Charade Night

We had a wonderful church service yesterday as Logan spoke before he leaves for Africa. We all shed a few tears as we thought about two very important people that were missing - the two wonderful men in our lives. Our dads/grandpas were sorely missed.

We had a yummy, yummy dinner. Everyone is starving after church but we just couldn't handle 15 people helping in the kitchen. All but the four women were shooed out, but only after the table was set :-)

Megan made a beautiful dessert, but I can't find the picture on my camera.......it was a lemonade cake decorated with almond slices and blueberries in such a way that it looked like flowers. It was a pretty and yummy treat. She is my dessert queen which is really saying something since she is off sugar for 6 months. Ah, to have such willpower.

We had our traditional game of charades. People came up with their own and put them in a big basket, but there was conspiring going on so some were easier than others. And of course Logan put in ridiculous ones, ha!

Journee.....Quinn...Can you guess Jordan's "movie"?Logan's impersonation of Van Gogh....Chillin' with a soda and popcorn....The Grandmas got into the act as well.Grandma Leslie's impersonation of The Beatles.
Today is, well, can we say "CAPTAIN AMERICA"? And tonight we BBQ and swim with some friends. Logan's band is performing Friday night and the two nieces are already conspiring to stay a little longer.........
