Crazy as it sounds, I actually know someone for whom "Obamaism" is her "religion" right now. I just try not to ever get stuck in a room alone with her! :)
Oh! Speaking of children's books. We got a copy of "THe Day It Rained Hearts" Rose loves it. 2 other great books (you may have them) are "The Triple Creek Dam Affair" and "The Bee Tree" both by Patricia Pollaco. We love her books.

I love Patricia Pollaco as well - she has a million books out, it seems.
