Ethan decided to get up while I was in the shower very early this morning, start his "mush," and feed our starving cat. To feed the cat he had to unlock the door, open the garage door, and he went out in the dark and cold to get the dish, fill it up, and take it back out.

The only good thing is that he isn't tall enough to turn on the stove!
He may cause me a nervous breakdown, yet.

RE; velveteen rabbit
About 10 years ago a sports writer for Chattanooga paper died of cancer. An article written as a tribute to him compared him to the velveteen rabbit. Both were "real" because they were so loved. It even talked about this man's hair falling out and the rabbits fur falling off...oh it was soooo sweet..and sooo sad. Anyway it was a great comparison for a man so many people admired and loved.
