Race Time

This Saturday was Pinewood Derby. Yes, that time of year parents approach with a wee bit of dread as you allow your 8 year old to work with power tools, sand paper and paint. I think we are in our 14th year straight of Pinewood Derby cars.

It went very well. Ethan loved it. This year we did it on a Saturday morning and began with a pancake breakfast. That should make any day run better.

Ethan came in first in the Cubs class. Our pinewood derby races are open to every one - from little ones to adults. They all just race in their own category.

I would say I just love this little bugger to death, but he has been up since 4:45 a.m. and I am not happy with him at the moment.
