I love the Waltons. I love everything about them - Grandma's practicality, Grandpa's wit, Mama's patience, and daddy's wisdom. We have watched this as a family since Megan was just a tot. When Phil worked out of town I would get the kids ready for bed and I would nurse the baby while we all enjoyed an episode.
With all of the trash on tv now, it is so refreshing to sit down together and not worry that we will see or hear something unsavory. There is always love, kindness and lesson to be learned when you turn on the Waltons.
