Whatcha Doing? Not much.

I know everyone is in a frenzy - what has happened to the McGraths!?! We haven't heard from them in almost two weeks....could disaster have struck? Do they have the swine flu?

Dad:
Believes a conspiracy is at hand for when he attempts to log on to the computer the signal to the router mysteriously disappears. He is contacting federal agents to look into the problem, but every time he calls he hears a mysterious clicking noise. He has been reduced to actually having to put on jeans and a polo shirt and drive the one mile to the office to work. You are invited to his pity party Saturday at 5:00pm.

Mom:
Believes that a biological bomb has been denoted in her house. With swollen, itchy eyes and sneezing uncontrollably, she finally consented to medical procedures. Unfortunately, she will have to move to the Arctic and live in isolation. Apparently she is allergic to everything, especially dust mites, which are a long and favored guest in her house. No treatment is possible because of her heart medication. She is often seen in class with a box of kleenex trying to look as if she is paying attention when she really feels like laying down and feeling miserable. You are invited to her pity party next Saturday at 5:00 pm. She also has 1500 pounds of bagged food in the kitchen waiting for a dry pack canner that was supposed to arrive at her house a month ago. Hopefully it will arrive before her sanity leaves.

Logan:

Has been laid off his new job because they have gone out of business. He also has four classes with summer assignments he has yet to begin. Always the optimist, he is sure he can squeeze it in "tomorrow." We will let you know when that miracle occurs. He is currently looking for a new job (well, that is what he is saying, anyway).

Jordan:

Has skillfully kept vegetables in the fridge from the garden. Unfortunately his skills don't extend to the bedroom where his mother has been left speechless more than once. After suffering, um...., enjoying a week of scout camp, he has developed a fine deep tan and many heat bumps. He is showing his resourcefulness by wearing the same clothes everyday for a week until his less-than-observant mother notices and makes him do his laundry. We are sure he will survive the summer is good fashion, however.

Ethan:

Continues to have his pretend friends over for very busy, loud, and messy play sessions. He has cleverly discovered how to open the trunk of the car and enjoys putting his luggage in there as he plans expeditions to far away places. He is managing to thrive on a diet of nachos, cheerios and ice cream which he very adeptly feeds himself while his unsuspecting mother is battling dust mites in the bedroom.

And Arkansas, being the simply fine and wonderfully accomodating state that it is, has provided the enjoyment of 100 degree weather with 100% humidity.

I know you all dying to visit - so come on by and we will smother you with some good ole Arkansan hospitality!

I'm glad to hear you're all still among the living! Sorry to hear of your allergies. I have some non-medical assistance to offer. I'll call you later.
I've missed your blogs! I didn't realize that I was addicted until it wasn't updated...;-)
