I got a note from the IRS yesterday.
They said I claimed more tax withholding than Phil's company reported having withheld -
Indignant, I checked my records.
Oops.
I reversed two numbers (I guess Turbotax can't catch everything).
Now I owe them $1800.
Ouch.

OH NOOOO! That's terrible- and scary!
Yep! Make sure you double check. I thought since I was using turbotax, no problems. I didn't take into account sloppy typing errors :-(
Ouch! No fun having to owe more than you thought.
